|Volunteer and Donations
The Snack Program starts again tomorrow (Jan 14). We still need volunteers from 8:45 – 9:45am each morning. You don’t have to commit to every day – any time that can be volunteered is appreciated! Please email Bowmoresnack@gmail.com to help, or to provide feedback on the snack program.
The Pizza Lunch Team, some of whom have organized and delivered pizza lunch for 8+ years, will be stepping down after this year. To continue pizza lunches next year, new people need to volunteer to organize and run this event. The team needs approximately 5 people: 3 to organize throughout the year and 2 on pizza lunch days. Along with the 5 adult volunteers you will be assisted by 16-18 student volunteers on pizza lunch days. If anyone is interested in experiencing a pizza lunch behind the scenes, you are welcome to shadow any of the team to see what goes into it. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask about shadowing or volunteering on pizza lunch.
No one can do everything, but everyone can do something! To find out what jobs work for you contact our volunteer coordinator at email@example.com.

Grade 8 High School Course selection
For any grade 8 families who haven’t had a chance to read the school’s January newsletter, please be aware of a note from our guidance counselor Ms Domenico:
Grade 8 High School Course selection through myblueprint (www.myblueprint.ca) will begin mid-January and into the first 2 weeks of February. Students will complete their course forms for all of their desired schools. These signed forms are returned to me and act as the “application” to that school. No other information is necessary. Please note that only 1/one course selection sheet is submitted to a TDSB school. The final deadline for these forms to be returned to me, and final decisions of destination are made, is Feb 22, 2019.
Please contact Susan Domenico with any questions or concerns. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
