Remembrance Day

At the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month in 1918 the fighting in World War One ceased. Since then, November 11th, Remembrance Day, is the day we commemorate those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice their lives and safety to protect ours. Please use this time to reflect on what others have given up for you.

During the assemblies today please make sure that your behaviour is respectful and mindful of these sacrifices. Please refrain from clapping, and show your respect by paying attention to the presenters.

The Grade 4-8 assembly is due to start at 10:40, so teachers please bring your students down at 10:30. Students please move quietly through the halls so we can be sure to start on time.
