2015 Classroom Organization

Principal McKay has provided a handout that shows the number of classrooms, how the classes are divided (e.g. split grade vs straight), and how many children will be in each for the 2015/2016 school year.

She is waiting for instruction from the TDSB ‎regarding reporting classroom assignments. The format for report cards is clear but, pending the instructions, the classroom assignments may not be on the report cards being mailed in July.

Reminder: please complete two brief surveys by May 1, 2015

Bowmore School and Bowmore School Council would greatly value your opinions on these important upcoming matters. Please take a few minutes to complete the following two brief surveys. Both surveys need to be completed by May 1, 2015. Thank you.

Bowmore staff is revamping the Bowmore Code of Conduct to create “look fors” in each category so that there are clear, specific examples of the kind of positive behaviour expected from members of our Bowmore School Community. Please direct any questions to VP Ryan Naidoo.

Which areas do you think should receive Bowmore School Council (“BSC”) funds in the 2015-2016 school year?

We’ve received a few questions and comments so far, e.g. “What about drama?”, “It should be made clear that Science refers to Scientists in the Classroom.” The list of activities and resources can be read at http://www.bowmoresc.com/fundraising   Please direct any questions to bowmoresc@gmail.com.

Thank you!
