We have some exciting news to share.
We have just heard roughly when work will begin on the Kindergarten south yard: after Canada Day weekend. The construction workers will lock the yard to begin demolition and the yard will be constructed in two phases.
Phase One will include demolition, leveling, and fixing the drainage.
Phase Two will start once the playground structure arrives. This phase is just the installation of the playground.
Work is expected to complete mid-October. Please be aware that these are estimated dates. Should unexpected items be found during construction, the schedule may change.
With regards to the City’s improvements to Fairmount Park, it looks like there could be some work being done at the same time. Bowmore Admin is considering options like staggering outside and lunch times to maximize space. On a positive note, it’s great that all of these improvements are happening in and around Bowmore!
