The grade 4’s in room 21 will be managing a Winter Clothes Drive to collect gently used cold weather gear for local families in need. This week, the students will start informing the school during morning announcements. They will also create a poster about the drive that will hang in each classroom outlining the information for the students.
The drive will run from November 30th until December 11th. Students can bring in their gently used coats, snow pants, gloves, hats, boots, etc. directly to their teachers..
Clothing will be washed, sorted, and boxed before bringing them to Edgewood P.S. Any parents wishing to help Ms. Varga with this task are asked to contact her at the school.
Lastly, if you have any cardboard boxes (ones that can be closed up) to donate, room 21 would greatly appreciate them!
