Dear Bowmore Community,
After six months of planning, preparation and rehearsals, the cast and artistic team are very excited about our upcoming presentation of the Sound of Music in May. Students in grades 3 to 8 have been working very hard learning their lines and music for this fantastic play. We also have a wonderful stage crew in place and a painting team which are preparing our backdrops and set pieces. Staff and parent volunteers have played a crucial role in bringing this production to life.
There will be three evening performances of the sound of music on May 19, 20 and 21 at 7:00pm. Advanced ticket sales will take place in the school main lobby starting May 1 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (except May 4 when Ms. Brewster is away) with approximately 200 tickets being sold for each performance. Limited tickets will also be available for sale on performance nights 30 minutes before curtain time. Ticket orders may also be placed in order envelopes, available from Mr. Butters, with payment and returned to Mr. Butters or Ms. Brewster. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students. There are no reserved seats and doors to the gymnasium will open 30 minutes before the performances.
We are very excited about this production and are confident that you will thoroughly enjoy the show. Please come out to support our students in their performance of the Sound of Music.
