The Bowmore FUN-Raiser Carnival is ready to roll today, Friday June 13, 3-7pm at Bowmore Schoolyard/Fairmount Park.
This family-friendly event features 4 huge inflatables, games, face painting, cake walk plus a bake sale, cotton candy, and popcorn for sale. Toss a pie-in-the-face at teachers and local community members, and capture some fun in our new photo booth. Dream Baskets Raffle is also happening.
Dinner is served with 4 food trucks on site. Food trucks accept cash at their windows (and all have made a generous donation to Bowmore Public School). Tickets are $20 for 25 tickets for inflatables and other attractions.
We aim to raise more than $5,000 from this event and every child from JK to Grade 8 will benefit with things like field trip buses, Scientists in the School, Prologue Theatre and other extras throughout the year.
This event is open to the community so please tell your friends and neighbours to join us for the fun!
Donations of cookies, cupcakes and treats for the Bake Sale and cakes for the Cake Walk are most welcome! To drop off please bring to the field at 3:00pm. Or there will be Carnival volunteers at the Bowmore Main Entrance from 8:15 – 8:30 Friday morning to receive your culinary masterpieces.
