On Monday, April 22, come celebrate Earth Day with us by taking part in a nature ‘eye spy’ game while you walk, bike or skip to school.
There will also be an umbrella parade on the school grounds in support of Earth Day so bring your umbrellas and join the parade!
On your way to school see if you can spy spring bulbs, buds on trees and birds. Take a photo and share your discoveries at the nature table where you will find our local expert Naturalist Bob Kortright, from Toronto Field Naturalists.
Email your nature photos to bowmoresc@gmail.com by Friday, April 26 and we will post them to Bowmore’s online Nature Journal, soon to be published on the Bowmore School Council website.
And yes, there will be hot chocolate and coffee for parents! So please remember to bring your mugs/cups to school.
