A message from Principal Sambrook:
Recently Sophie Stevens, past graduate, returned to Bowmore asking for my help and the help of the community with her goal to get to Kenya. Our Guidance Counsellor Kelly Miller-Caise, Music Teacher Paul Butters, Me to We Teacher Leader Peter Gazzellone, and our Me to We students stepped up and will be helping Sophie Stevens (now at Rosedale) with promoting her fundraising to get to Kenya this summer.
They have posted posters in the school and on the school community bulletin board alerting the community to this special event and their opportunity to support Sophie. She is a real social justice advocate and we are thrilled to be supporting her with her efforts to make a difference. Attached is an invite she wanted me to share with you and the community.
