Ever wonder how we allocate the funds we raise through activities like QSP, pizza lunches or Bowmore Rocks? Though we cannot raise funds for basic educational requirements like curriculum materials or capital expenses, School Council fundraising supports student learning enrichment like Scientists and Artists in the School, visiting performers (like the Prologue Theatre magician who wowed our students last week), graduation celebrations, buses for field trips, sports uniforms and much more.
To ensure that this year’s funding priorities reflect the opinions of our community, we would like to hear from you. Please click here to complete a brief opinion form – it will take you only a few minutes. Your opinion matters in shaping the enrichment activities at our school. A paper survey has also been distributed with the paper newsletter, or can be picked up in the office. All surveys must be completed by October 22. We will report on the results of this survey at the next School Council meeting on October 23, and use the results to set our budget.
